Sorry this post is a bit delayed – I just got back from my wedding and honeymoon and it’s taken awhile to get caught back up on life. Included here are 15 multimedia-related jobs that I came across while perusing a number of different job boards. These opportunities make me wish I had graduated this past May! “The Wilderness Downtown” music video an “interactive media experience”

I never thought I would have a good reason to blog about a music video – until now that is! Music director Chris Milk teamed with Google developers to produce the interactive experience “The Wilderness Downtown” for Arcade Fire’s song “We Used To Wait.” Built in HTML5, the site integrates Google Maps and Google Earth to provide a customizable experience for each user depending on where he/she grew up.

Infographic eye candy: Tracking Google’s acquisitions

As much as I love interactivity, sometimes a static infographic is just as impressive and might arguably tell the story even better than its flashy counterpart. I really enjoyed spending quality time with this infographic and I hope it proves that there are countless ways to visually tell a compelling yet complex story!
