Students, have I got the opportunity of a lifetime for you! Maine Media Workshops is hiring dozens of students to help them throughout the summer with their workshops. This means that 1) you get paid, 2) you get to work alongside the excellent faculty listed above, as well as meet all of the other workshop attendees and 3) you get to essentially take all of these workshops without paying!
In order to be considered, you will need to attend a job fair in Rockport, Maine, on March 26th and 27th. If you are unable to travel to Maine, you can electronically send in your application. It sounds like your chances are higher if you attend the job fair, though. For more information about the summer job openings and application process, check out their “Summer Job Fair” page.
Personally, if I didn’t have summer plans, I would sign up for the multimedia teaching assistant gig. Since I can’t take advantage of this opportunity, hopefully another II reader can!
